Mum is being treated as lung cancer patient.. mass in one lung bedore xmas and second xray shows mass in other lung… this has been going on for around 8 months, doctors gave mum several courses of antibiotics before doing xray. I fear its been too long! Just started to cough blood up too. CT scan this week so praying for something positive
she is 48 and stopped smoking over ten years ago but so worried its too late!
Hi mel3v4ns welcome to the group but so sorry to hear about your mum. I can understand how upset you feel that it has taken this long to get a ct for your mum. It sounds like from the first X-ray before Xmas they thought the mass was infection and not a tumour. The ct will definitely put some clarity on what is going on. This can take a couple of weeks to get the result of the ct scan though, so hang in there, you will get the answers you need soon. X
