Hi all I was recently told I have two lung nodules in the soft tissue on the lower part of my lung they stated it had grown from a scan I had in 2017 ( news to me didn’t know it was there ) I have breathing problems I can’t walk far I get pain in my side and back I find it hard to swollow food and my voice has changed but not sure if that’s because my thyroid tsh is no longer there and I’m also worried that these nodules in my lung could have attacked my tsh gland and my thyroid gland, I do t see anyone till January and tbh I’m worried sick the cardiologist that ordered the ct scan has forwarded me to a professor in reap I’ll Ed’s and I’m waiting to see an endocrinologist about my thyroid so for the 1st time in my life I’m not looking forward to Xmas I’m worried incase the worst happened what would I tell my daughter my sister my family it would break my heart to tell them bad news any advise would be great as already reading your stories has made me feel more hopeful and better

I know it is hard waiting for these appointments, but best to try and enjoy your Christmas, you can’t do anything about the appointments in the meantime.
It is hard to say whether it is the lung nodules, or the thyroid, and there probably will be a few tests before you know, but hang in there, one step at a time xx
