I have been diagnosed with adenocarcinoma lung and had two lots of biopsy and waiting on result for a treatment plan , I was suppose to get the results today . But thete not back so another week of worrying .
The waiting for the next step always seems to take forever. I remember so well in the Spring, waiting for the results and then having another scan and needle biopsy. Waiting again for treatment plan etc.
I’m pretty sure that most suffer from this anxiety and worry. You are not alone.
I did everything to distract myself. Box sets mainly and some sleep hypnosis. I tried to keep everything as normal as possible and didn’t spend ages reading and looking for info. I tried to live ‘now’, so to speak.

I ended up using UTube. Some of them run for 8 hours and it’s finding the right one for you. More recently I’ve been listening to audio books from the library. The advantage of these is that they can be set to go off a different times. These are my current go to to help me go to sleep
