Hi all ,
I was diagnosed in 2015 and had right lung lobectomy in Nov of that year. All was well but a nodule that had been under watch on my left lung grew . This resulted in biopsy in April 2022 and radiotherapy ( 5 sessions) in May 2022. Ever since then I have had pain in my chest/lung thru to my shoulder blade . This pain is steadying but is excruciating when I sneeze - feels like someone is tearing my lung open. I have dyhydrocodeine painkillers but they cause constipation . Can’t take neuropathiic painkillers because of heart condition .
Has anyone else had experiences like this with pain for over 6 months ?? Oncologist says it can last “ a while”

I'm not a member of this group but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' it back to the top of the discussion list where hopefully someone with a similar experience will see it and respond.
Being in pain for such a long time must be really horrible, to put it mildly, so I do hope that your hospital team can get on top of this pain soon.
