Slight progression

Hi Sue, welcome to the group, but sorry you find yourself here. I am sorry to hear that there has been slight progression after being on Tarceva successfully up until now. How frustrating that you have to wait for an appointment to find out what they plan. It is hard for us to say what they might decide. They may decide to continue as you are for the time being as it is only slight progression, or they may decide to try a different treatment. Whatever it is I hope you do not have to wait too long to find out x

Thanks for replying. It is the waiting that is hard and also having to see a new oncologist. Hopefully my oncologist will be back soon and i can be referred back to him. Will let you know the outcome

Spoke to my nurse today, found out my oncologist is due back off sick leave next week. His secretary is in the process of sending out appointment letters, so still don’t know when will get appointment to discuss next steps.  All this waiting is doing my head in one minute up next minute I’m down. I have different scenarios going through my head. My daughter has been a great support trying to lift my spirits. Going for a walk with her, now that the rain has stopped, hopefully it will clear my head. Probably be naughty and stop off at the milk shed for coffee and cake
