I am in the process of a lung cancer diagnosis. I have to go for a biopsy this coming week. I have lung nodules in both lungs. 3 in the right lower lobe and 4 in the left lobe. I have Luous and other underlying conditions. I am really scared to go for a biopsy as the doctor said the risks are too high. The biggest is 10mm. Just wanted to ask if there is anyone who had so many nodules but not detected in 2018 when I had the CT scan which showed only a 3.5cm cyst and one nodule which was 8mm.
I am.not sure if I should go ahead with the biopsy as at the moment it's been 4 months since the cough stopped and my breathing test are in very good range and the nodules have not changed size since February this year.
