I've been working my way through colon cancer, now removed successfully but left with permanent colostomy, PC gleason 9 stage 4 being treated with HT so to complete the set have been diagnosed with lung fibrosis and recently lung cancer, waiting on another scan to get more data on severity etc. I'm here to share the experiences of others but surprisingly am not in any mental anguish, maybe the fact l'm 80 and have already had 18 months l didn't really expect helps. I'm determined to enjoy every day, with my lovely wife's help. Mind you, today has been a wipe out with total exhaustion ustion and breathlessness. Better tomorrow
Hello and welcome to the group, but sorry you find yourself here. It sounds like you have been through a lot already, so I am sorry you now have this to contend with as well.
The waiting for scans seems to be the hardest part. They seem to take so long to come back with results.
It is good to take one day at a time. I hope today is a better day for you x
