Hello,I was diagnosed with lung cancer 3 years ago,I had upper left lung removed.Ongoing issues since then.Would love to hear from anyone else who has been through this, thanks
Hi Kenzie, I haven't had a lobectomy, but I know there are people in the group that have, so I am bumping your post so it doesn't get missed x
Hi Kenzie I had a lobectomy November 8th and had quite.a few problems and Kevin hospital 10 days…still more problems with my recovery and only in the past 10 days do I feel as though I’m getting back to my normal self… I still get short of breath after walking short distances or even having a shower but hoping thiywill improve…I have been told that my cancer hadn’t spread and I don’t need anymore treatment…I am 73 year old female and think that probably my age has slowed my recovery??? Hope this helps you…
Hi Nanny,so pleased you are on the mend,I think maybe our age does have something to do with it.I still have a nodule on lower part of the lung, various scans over the last year, but they are still nsure what it is,I have been commenced onto medication for nerve pain, hopefully this will help. You take care, and wishing you a speedy recovery
Thank you Kenzie and you too…Happy and healthy New Year
