Hi everyone i hope you are all keeping well. If someone cud tell me their thoughts on this please. My mum passed away from metastatic lung cancer 10 weeks ago. She had her 1st diagnosis march/april 2020. She had radiotherapy and got the news in dec of that year that all was going well and the tumor in her lung had shrunk. She had no other scans until aug 21 and this is when we got the news that she wasnt able to be saved. It was back in her liver aswell. Should my mum have had regular scans in between this time to check it wasnt re growing? Thank you xx
Hi Jentt I am really sorry to hear about your mum. I am sorry I cannot answer whether your mum should of had any other scans. You can contact PALS The Patient Advice and Liaison Service, if you want to discuss or complain about the treatment your mum had.
