My mam got diagnosed  in June. She went into hospital  in July to have it all removed   ..there said opp went well 4 days later mam couldn't  breath there put her in a injuiced coma  for 5 days on and of then there put a tracky  in her neck so she could breath. She was in icu for 6 weeks there wanted to put a dnr in place on the 20 of August  because  there didn't  think she make it but we said no that night there paddle her heart .she came home on the 23  September.  We found out there didn't take all cancer away  while mam was fighting  for her life in hospital  the cancer got anger and spread a bit  and now there saying there is no cure for my mam .she just went for ct scan on 14 of Dec to see how far it spread she can't get out bed all ways in pain .just not the mam I used to see my heart is so broken

  • Hi Flossys, welcome to the group, but so sorry to hear about your mum. It is heartbreaking watching a loved one live with this terrible disease. As she’s only just gone for her CT today, there will be a wait now for the results. This is the worst bit, waiting to hear the unknown.
