My husband was recently diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and has been told he only has weeks. I cant begin to imagine what is going through his head. He has went downhill very fast but the worst is watching him every night fighting sleep he is exhausted but terrified if he goes to sleep he wont wake up. I have tried sleeping tablets but he still fights the sleep i am at my wits end as the quality of his days are suffering any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Hi Alexandrena, welcome to the group, but so sorry to hear about your husband. That must of been a terrible shock for you both. That must be so stressful for you to watch him fighting his sleep. Have you spoke to his medical team about this?
Most of us here in the lung group, are people who have lung cancer ourselves. There are a few people here who are caring for loved ones, but you could also join the supporting someone with incurable cancer group where you will find other people in a similar situation to yourself.
