CT scan with contrast

Hi Daisy_21 a CT scan will indeed show if there is any change in the tumours. Sorry I couldn’t say what the oncologist will decide if the treatment isn’t working, as everyone is different.  I know it is hard whilst you wait for results, but please remember this is a routine scan, and I’m sure it will be fine.  Xx

unfortunately we didnt get to the scan as my husband woke up and was feeling very unwell and went back to bed for most of the day.  i will contact them on monday to re schedule.

We went today..... it took me 2 hrs in slow moving traffic to get there as they couldnt give us an appointment locally !! so i did a 70 mile around trip after a full days work   Considering his needle phobia, he did so well (they let me with him for the canular)   now we wait for results in the new year.  

Oh Daisy that sounds awful. That is a long drive for anyone, but when you are anxious about a procedure as well that must of been a hard journey. I know it won’t be easy but try and not think about the results now, enjoy Christmas together.

We were called to the hospital to discuss the results........... we have been told that my husbands tumours have reduced by half !!!  this buys us a bit more time together.  Best Christmas present ever.  Wishing you all love and light xx
