  1. Hello my name is Anne, I was diagnosed with advanced stage lung cancer on 6th January this year, I've had 4 rounds of chemo which reduced the tumour significantly;
  2. Unfortunately 2 months later my tumour had grown back significantly bigger , so 2 weeks after my 2nd diagnosis I had 5 straight day's of radiotherapy which I thought was worse than the chemo.
  3. In between waiting for my scan which I had 26th of October, the pain has been unbearable. I was then reffured to the enhanced support team to help with the pain. They have been my lifeline. They are amazing.
  4. I have to wait until the 04th of November for my results which isn't to bad, I am expected the worst, but if they tell me different then it's a bonus , this is my journey so far!
  • Hi Annabell55 welcome to the group, but sorry you find yourself here. I am so sorry to hear that the tumour has grown after chemo. I am so glad you are getting help with the pain. I wonder if the radiation is contributing towards the pain you are experiencing. Waiting for scan results is very stressful.  I hope you can keep your mind busy waiting for the 4th November. I am sending lots of positive thoughts for a better result from this scan for you. Please let us know how you get on. x
