I've just recently been diagnosed with lung cancer stage 4 not curable. I'm only 54 & the thought terrifies me. I'm waiting on a treatment plan. Everytime I Google the outcome isn't positive. I'm just struggling to come to terms with everything.
Hi , so sorry to hear about your condition, my wife was diagnosed with EGRF lung cancer in July this year spread to hip shoulder and spine, she has started a treatment with osimerib and morphine as pain killer, she just had her 3 month scan and we get results on 27th (fingers crossed).
yes it does seem dire, but there are people on this forum who manage to live with this illness for many years.
in my 3 months if seen that everyone’s journey is different, don’t lose hope and it will take a while to except what’s going on, stay strong and if you need help always reach out
