I've completed 4 combined chemo/immunotherapy sessions and have had one immuno session for my lung cancer with bone metastases. I've had mixed results so far - no new metastases, but existing ones have grown. From my blood markers, my oncologist thinks maybe things are plateauing, so we will do another scan after another 3 treatments.
About 10 days ago some of the fingers on my left hand have started tingling. I suspect it's peripheral neuropathy. Has anybody experienced this? Has it progressed to other limbs. Does it cause numbness? Has your treatment continued?
Hi Fitzeagle
It is a very common side effect of chemo. It will usually clear up once the treatment finishes.
You do need to tell your cancer team about this, it will not stop your treatment.
Hope this helps a bit.
