Good morning , just been sent some correspondence regarding my treatment and it makes mention to the macmillan organiser app which seems a great  resource for tracking appmts meds etc … but I can’t find it , has it been discontinued? Does anyone use it that may know how to find it ? Thanks so much , Elly x

  • I think you can access this via the App Store.  If in doubt, just Google MacMillan Organiser App.

  • Thanks Kegsy I tried that with no luck , I’ve since read it’s been discontinued, seems a shame x

  • Hi Elly,

Think ive read somewhere youre being treated at The Christie?

Have you not been given the "myMFT" app? (Mft standing for Manchester Foundation Trust)

This app is brilliant, all appointments are sent and you can confirm / check in on the app electronically, meds, test results, consultants letters current & historic are available here too, its a one click resource for everything surrounding your treatment.

I am being treated over in Wythenshaw btw, which is part of The Christie, hence being given the app.

  • Hiya Dave I have got the mft app but it doesn’t seem to be being used at the Christie . I got all my wythenshawe appmts etc through it though for biopsies etc …. I’ll ask why the Christie appmts don’t come through it , thanks

  • Hi

The Christie is not part of Manchester Foundation Trust group of hospitals. Over the years The Christie has expanded its outreach treatment programmes to many hospitals across Greater Manchester; this is so that patients can access treatments/tests, such as chemo, closer to home.

This will be why you are unable to access The Christie details via the MFT app.

    Hope this helps.
