Hi everyone.
I thought I would put a link here to explain about Your Profile page. It is very helpful if you can all take a minute to fill out your journey on your profile page, as this really helps others to answer any questions you may have. It doesn't matter if it is your own cancer journey, or whether you are here to support a loved one. This is very helpful to the newcomers, to see that people have been on a similar journey to the one they are starting. You just click on your username then select profile. You can edit this information at anytime, and update the journey as you go. You can have a look at my profile to get some idea, just click on my user name or picture to go to my profile.
Thank you.
Bumping this post as a reminder, as we have had a number of new people joining the lung group. Please just take a moment to put some information about yourself on your profile page, it is extremely helpful to others when answering questions from you.
Hi BGJ . That is a very interesting point. I will pass your comments onto the team if that is ok with you?
Hi everyone I thought you might like an update . since being diagnosed with lung cancer I have had a course of radiotherapy . i have since had a scan and a chat bto the oncologist by phone. He informed me that my cancer had not grown neither had it shrunk, however on the other side from my cancer another shadow or groth has appeared on my other lung. He does not know what this is and would discuss it with his team and come back to me . I have a telephone appointment with him on the 25th 0f this month. Why is everything on the phone these days one can not see a doctor?. not even my own doctor if I telephone my local clinic I have to tell the receptionist what is wrong with me before I can even talk to the doctor by phone which would not be on the same day it could be as much as a week away. Only god caan help us now Tom
