Hi all

I know there is a lot of worry over the new C bomb being dropped all over the place. This thread is being set up to keep that word off this particular thread to help people that are possibly in self isolation.

So I think we should kick it off we should post our favourite place or places to visit. We may be restricted on where we can travel, but we can go anywhere in people's pictures Slight smile

I will leave it open till end of Friday then pass the batton on to someone else to open a new post on this thread, first suggestion first served, something of interest to them. If nothing posted by 10am Saturday, I will re put my thinking cap back on.

So I guess I should post a picture or two to start it off.

You are right. I have so many songs. I use the Deezer app on my phone and add any favourites to it as I go, which then influences the type of music it picks out and plays for you. I think I have quite a varied taste from Country to Reggae to pop to rock and R&B.

I will cheat though and do a copy and paste my profile on some of the tunes that have meant more to me from previously or since I joined here. It's usually the lyrics that get me but of course the tune has to be good too.

I hope you enjoyed your dancing about Julie and the indigestion isn't too bad.

Hopefully others may add theirs too Slight smile

Love that idea Chelle Smiley check you out having an Alexa... I am too tight to pay for it.... so I added the list to a playlist on YouTube for free Stuck out tongue

Let me know what you think... as I say, certain songs remind me of certain stages of treatment etc.... Just like a pill reminds me of chemotherapy and the ward staff in Southampton... very apt for a couple I met...

  • My other half talks to Alexa more than he does me. Asks her how her days been, and says good night to her. He’s very strange Joy

  • Thank you Gina, we all had fun bopping around to your play list this morning. Only one criticism, When Doves cry should only be sung by prince....

Our favourite was a clear winner by us all, Duke Dumont - Ocean Drive.

Awww glad you all had fun Slight smile

Open mouth I'll take that, there are a few versions of it, but I specifically like the Romeo and Juliet remix of it where it starts off slow like the original by prince and then the beat and tempo pics up.

Duke Dumont gets me every time, you can't resist to grooving along to it. I miss going out in my car and playing it at high volume.

I facetimed my nieces earlier. I managed to make 2 out of the 5 cry.... my Easter is complete Smiley the baby and the almost 4 year old. The oldest one was like a typical not saying much teen. The almost two year old was the most chatty. Was lovely to see them.
