Hello All

I thought about setting up a thread for us all to use to chat about various stuff across, so it's all in one place and newer members posts not getting pushed down and off the discussion front page before getting an answer.

I hope you are all doing well and not too stuffed on easter eggs?

I have not eaten mine yet! I went to bed friday night not feeling well and woke up Saturday with a horrid migraine throwing my guts up Disappointed usually I fall asleep and sleep it off. Not so, I ended up going to the OOH doctor Sunday afternoon as was still throwing up Disappointed He gave me some lotions and potions and still not right yet. Though haven't thrown up for a few hours now. I going to try and eat something soon (not easter eggys) to see if I can manage that and see if it makes me feel better. I hate being ill! Especially on a bank holiday weekend with such nice weather. I was so looking forward to it and I have slept most of it away.

    Hi Mick

Lovely to hear from you! I am well impressed with the over cleaning. I know what you mean, no using it again now. I keep telling myself that maybe I should get a cleaner, I so hate cleaning.

They sure are, mine decided to come over and try nick my work lanyard off of me whilst I was being his maid earlier.

Speaking of the Caribbean, they are waning of 40 degrees plus in France tomorrow! I checked ours and no where near that but still 29 degrees on Friday.... best make sure I shave my legs, so I can don some shorts or similar, so I do not over heat. Oh and restock yet more Ice creams. I came home today and tucked into another one....

This not working full time at the moment, seems to be getting me back into neighbours and home and away! It's been about 25 years since I watched those!

Get a cleaner,  you deserve it. I love rhe heat and 29 sounds like heaven,, but they are forecasting very humid conditions which I do not like. It sounds like a good day to spend with Darby, he will need cooling down.

Whist on I need some advice from you or anyone that can help. I have been on morphine and then Oxycodon for just over a year and I am not having a lot of pain so thought it was time to come off. I stopped at the weekend but last night I ended up trying to crawl up the walls, sweating and sick and my legs would not stay still. After 2 hours of this I had to take a tablet and thankfully after an hour I got to sleep.  I saw my GP today and he has prescribed morphine fluid sulphate to be taken up to 4 times a day as required. Has anyone been through this successfully.

We're those programmes you were watching in black and white.

    Hi Derek,

We can all do without these enigmatic phone calls, they are never on the receiving end and don't realise how much anxiety they cause.

I have returned from the hospital today after my white blood cell count was too low again for the second week running and next weeks appointment is on Friday at 2.10pm so even if my blood test shows I'm okay it's probably too late for them to order the drugs and infuse as they shut at 7.00pm, so I'll probably have to go back again the following week!

    Summer what summer!

    Wishing you all the best

Hi Julie and Chelle, Yes very hot but better then the rain . Had a good day a little gardening in the morning before it got to hot ,held the ladder while hubby cleaned the gutters out .Washing dried very quickly so got that ironed , did some cooking. Then went and sat with two granddaughters while there mum and dad took grandson to look at his new school he's 11 next month. Now watching the football, feel tired but good , hope I don't pay for it tomorrow. TC Ellen.

  • Hi Ellen,

yes the sun has been lovely, I did a bit of pottering in the garden this morning but then it did get hot so I decided to sit in it for bit but then it got too hot to sit in so I came inside for a bit and then the day went a little bit wonky - I had a little napSee no evil
