Hello All
I thought about setting up a thread for us all to use to chat about various stuff across, so it's all in one place and newer members posts not getting pushed down and off the discussion front page before getting an answer.
I hope you are all doing well and not too stuffed on easter eggs?
I have not eaten mine yet! I went to bed friday night not feeling well and woke up Saturday with a horrid migraine throwing my guts up usually I fall asleep and sleep it off. Not so, I ended up going to the OOH doctor Sunday afternoon as was still throwing up
He gave me some lotions and potions and still not right yet. Though haven't thrown up for a few hours now. I going to try and eat something soon (not easter eggys) to see if I can manage that and see if it makes me feel better. I hate being ill! Especially on a bank holiday weekend with such nice weather. I was so looking forward to it and I have slept most of it away.
Good morning everyone from a very sunny Hampshire.
Sorry to hear that Phil is having such a hard time. Thank you Gina for keeping us updated.
I agree Julie, this is the best place to come and let off steam. There have been many a time I have been feeling down, then once I have posted my feelings I start to feel better.
I’m off to the hairdresser, get rid of some grey
xx
How come you’ve got sun again, we’ve not seen the sun for weeks, lovely a trip to the hairdresser - what colour are we going. I wanted to have my hair cut this week to look a bit decent for next week but she’s on holiday - disaster
LOL i darnt get rid of the grey , would be bald glad your getting decent weather we are up and down here. forecast bad tomorrow. enjoy
im kind of a mousey blonde at the moment, but I have been all colours over the years, from black to red. I had alopecia last year, and the bald patches have just about caught up.
It was really busy down here yesterday with Trump and the Queen being here for D day celebrations. I thought Queenie would of dropped by for a cup of tea, but maybe she hasn’t got my new address.
All the ladies are off to the hairdresser, must be something in the air.
Chelle, she must have gone to your old place.
Where has our Albondigas scarpered off too and Humphreybrm along with a few other quiet ones.
Hi Everyone,
Don't worry I'm still about! Bad week this week - all the downsides hit on the same day! The after steroids downer, the injections bone pain and the chemotherapy side effects slammed me on Monday and I'm still dragging myself back.
I need to get my act together as we are at a 50th anniversary party this evening and off to Cadiz for 4 days on Sunday.
My organised world has collapsed today as the water has been turned off all day and my washing machine was half way through a load.
Still no scan results and no-one is answering the phones in oncology.
I dream of going to the hairdresser, though I do pop in to say hello ( she is 20 metres from my door) .
hi albondandgas. sorry your having a rubbish time. i had a bit of one yesterday but seams to have gone off now. can remember 3 yrs ago when fit as a fiddle playing with dog on whitby beach. seams so long ago now. hope you enjoy your party. TC
Hi Albondigas, good to hear from you. Sorry you are having a rough time. Hope you manage to get to the party, will do you good I’m sure to get out.
What a pain about the water! Hope that is back on soon. Even more annoying about the scan results!!
A trip to Cadiz sounds wonderful, hope you have a great time xx
Justme19 Good luck for your scan tomorrow. Is it at a reasonable time? Do you have far to travel? Xx
