Hello All

I thought about setting up a thread for us all to use to chat about various stuff across, so it's all in one place and newer members posts not getting pushed down and off the discussion front page before getting an answer.

I hope you are all doing well and not too stuffed on easter eggs?

I have not eaten mine yet! I went to bed friday night not feeling well and woke up Saturday with a horrid migraine throwing my guts up Disappointed usually I fall asleep and sleep it off. Not so, I ended up going to the OOH doctor Sunday afternoon as was still throwing up Disappointed He gave me some lotions and potions and still not right yet. Though haven't thrown up for a few hours now. I going to try and eat something soon (not easter eggys) to see if I can manage that and see if it makes me feel better. I hate being ill! Especially on a bank holiday weekend with such nice weather. I was so looking forward to it and I have slept most of it away.

Good to hear you got your side table! Absolutely we must treat ourselves. I do hope visitors notice it.

I keep doing the same with my sofas, they are about 9 years old and my darling cat at times is very naughty (and is barred from the lounge at night or when I am at work because of it) decides because I have wooden flooring which is easier to clean, decides if she is being a madam will poo on the sofa! I keep thinking of getting some new recliners and ideally leather just in case but then I think it's a lot of expense and hassle. Especially if the cat loves to also sleep on the backs of them and leaves welts where she likes to sleep...

Darlo is a very bad influence however.

  • Don’t get me going on sofas, I’ve hated this suite since the day it came and have been replacing it for the last 3 years but as usual never bothered, if the consultant is kind to me next week I might just do it, nothing expensive, it’s only for me and a dogJoy to be honest I am more comfortable now sat upright not slouched - but you should know me by now I won’t botherRolling eyes I actually want a winged armchair, don’t ask me why. I feel a trip to ikea coming on
