Hello All
I thought about setting up a thread for us all to use to chat about various stuff across, so it's all in one place and newer members posts not getting pushed down and off the discussion front page before getting an answer.
I hope you are all doing well and not too stuffed on easter eggs?
I have not eaten mine yet! I went to bed friday night not feeling well and woke up Saturday with a horrid migraine throwing my guts up usually I fall asleep and sleep it off. Not so, I ended up going to the OOH doctor Sunday afternoon as was still throwing up
He gave me some lotions and potions and still not right yet. Though haven't thrown up for a few hours now. I going to try and eat something soon (not easter eggys) to see if I can manage that and see if it makes me feel better. I hate being ill! Especially on a bank holiday weekend with such nice weather. I was so looking forward to it and I have slept most of it away.
hi Gina doing as good as possible. coughing up blood seemed a one off took blood samples all clear as long no more. my only issue is pain in my back they think from where part lung collapsed. told about that 2 month ago they played it down saying plenty of other places to breath from. i asked if it would recover was told only if cancer vanished. glad to see your pulling round. is that your treatment finished now?
Hi Gina, good to hear from you.
Thank you I am feeling better today, I get the odd day where I just feel rubbish and can’t do very much, this usually ends in a migraine. I’m told it’s all to do with the hormone therapy I am on, so it’s just something I have to live with, but I know that it’s nothing compared with what others have to deal with.
We went to see Rocket man this afternoon with my Dad. I was really looking forward to it as my parents were huge Elton John fans when I was growing up. I remember they went to a concert and my mum telling me how fantastic it was, and how many costume changes Elton had done. You can tell Elton had input into the film, it was all very theatrical, but told his life story very well. What a very sad man he was. Just shows how people’s true lives are hidden behind all the glam. Taron Egerton, who played Elton did a really good job, and really sounded like him. I did enjoy it, however not as much as Bohemian Rhapsody.
Derek, have they given you a scan date yet?
no chelle. nurse said hang on to ornacologist appointment unless i hear anything. june 3rd. if i have to go on june 3rd he will just send me away, waste of £5 for taxi as early 9.40 am and can't use bus pass till 9.30am. nice to see your feeling a bit better. hope julie ok not heard from her today.
