Hello All
I thought about setting up a thread for us all to use to chat about various stuff across, so it's all in one place and newer members posts not getting pushed down and off the discussion front page before getting an answer.
I hope you are all doing well and not too stuffed on easter eggs?
I have not eaten mine yet! I went to bed friday night not feeling well and woke up Saturday with a horrid migraine throwing my guts up usually I fall asleep and sleep it off. Not so, I ended up going to the OOH doctor Sunday afternoon as was still throwing up
He gave me some lotions and potions and still not right yet. Though haven't thrown up for a few hours now. I going to try and eat something soon (not easter eggys) to see if I can manage that and see if it makes me feel better. I hate being ill! Especially on a bank holiday weekend with such nice weather. I was so looking forward to it and I have slept most of it away.
A new baby. Congratulations little Fi. Shall I call you little Fi or just Fi?
my 3rd granddaughter is now 12 weeks+ and it’s lovely watching her change and grow.. I’m sad I won’t be able to cuddle her but face time is helpful to keep in touch. Perhaps we can meet for a walk in the park on a good day.
i can see my older two through the window as they live nearer and pop bye with the odd bit of shopping.
Somehow I feel ill miss my family more this time.
let’s hope for Christmas
all the best to all
How are we all doing ? Hope everyone is coping with this 2nd lockdown? Just when it started to feel like we could raise our heads out of the water, we are back to square one. Keep safe everyone.
Hello stranger, fancy meeting you here
Im glad you’ve posted, it’s about time we all dragged our sorry backsides to this thread, Gina left it for us and we need to keep it going.
We certainly do need to keep it going in memory of our lovely Gina - but also to encourage and support all our new pals xx stay strong everyone. I have my hospital appointment on Tuesday for an update with my consultant and get results of my scan taken on the 12th October. Always an anxious time in our journey - just hope it's not cancelled because of covid.

Hi Cathy
At last you get your results, are you going in to see him or is it a phone consultation. Just need to keep yourself busy tomorrow then you’ll be there Good Luck
I'm hoping your latest lockdown is brief and effective. Our second wave was scary and it took months and extreme restrictions to get it under control.
I have a lung CT tomorrow. I think it's to check that nothing new has developed as they told me that they won't be able to assess the effectiveness of the SBRT until about the three month mark.
On Friday, I have an appointment with my haematologist. This one I am a bit concerned about as I have several swollen lymph nodes in my neck. I don't feel at all ready to get back on the treatment roundabout, so I'm hoping that they are reactive and not indicative of a lymphoma relapse.
Thank you Chelle,
As I’m now shielding I can’t meet up with them although it’s permitted to meet 1 person outside at a distance so maybe a possibility.

Hi Nel,
Thank you and congratulations to you too on the birth of you granddaughter. Such a special time for the new parents but also sad that they can’t do the usual normal thngs. I really feel for them.
I hope we can all get our lives back in time for Christmas. It will give us all something to look forward to. Yes, you can call me Fi - so much easier!
Fi
Hi Fi
these restrictions are both hard and confusing at times. I miss seeing my new little Asta but am lucky in that I see my other two granddaughters albeit through the window when they swing bye as they live nearby.
I’m hoping to meet up with my daughter and Asta in park if weather permits one day just for a walk.
hope you can maybe manage to see yours in some way.
Cathy - hope your meeting goes well with results and all
Lolie - hope your lung CT goes well and also Fridays appt.
I agree would be nice to keep this thread going as a memory to dear Gina and to help others as she always tried to do.
myself, because I’m on a clinical trial I’m back and forth at hospital and my liver function shows a little off on Friday so back Wednesday for check. Over weekend my feet became a little swollen which could well be connected but only a little so I’ll keep an eye and If it gets any worse I’ll call them otherwise will get it checked and also bloods checked Wednesday so will show any issue.
never a dull moment. Otherwise all good and hope everyone is managing well
best wishes
Oohh hinny, I'm ok this one, but I have a lump from 3 years ago never went away..hope you don't need Dr pimple popper anytime soon..ooohhh..xx
