Hello All
I thought about setting up a thread for us all to use to chat about various stuff across, so it's all in one place and newer members posts not getting pushed down and off the discussion front page before getting an answer.
I hope you are all doing well and not too stuffed on easter eggs?
I have not eaten mine yet! I went to bed friday night not feeling well and woke up Saturday with a horrid migraine throwing my guts up usually I fall asleep and sleep it off. Not so, I ended up going to the OOH doctor Sunday afternoon as was still throwing up
He gave me some lotions and potions and still not right yet. Though haven't thrown up for a few hours now. I going to try and eat something soon (not easter eggys) to see if I can manage that and see if it makes me feel better. I hate being ill! Especially on a bank holiday weekend with such nice weather. I was so looking forward to it and I have slept most of it away.
Hi Darlo, is it the antibiotics that are making you feel better, or the lovely young doctor
y brings a smile to my face, shh wife's coming
Well there some of you are! Good to hear from you all. I have tracked down a few others too that have been posting in another group.
Sorry to hear that you spent time in hospital Ray. Good luck for the radiotherapy. Make preparations for lots of snoozing and gentle entertainment. Shopping, binge watching to recuperate. Along with stocking the cupboards with snacks and easy to make, easy to swallow food. You men seem to get spoiled with the nice nurses eh...
Yes the chemotherapy should help to kill it and ideally the radio should then zap it even more even the tiniest bit, crossed fingers.
Glad you have got the settee sorted Ray, go get the Car too... why not eh?
Check Julie and Chelle out raising their hands, all polite. Yes blooming storms, we had all the ones that England had plus being in the Channel, additional ones from France and then from Spain. Hot island, meh. Though it was sunny at times today mind.
Good to hear Chelle, I hope your sister is also doing well too. Glad to hear you have managed to re tweak your meds to you being back to being comfortable. It's a pest when you need to fiddle them.
Darlo - lovely to hear you have escaped and seem to be perking up again, catching up on the football. Nice nurses and football.. what more could a man want really eh?
Lovely to hear from you Peggy, Eve and GSD
Thinking of you tomorrow Karen and the wait after. Keeping busy is my tool too. I have planned stuff to get done this week to force myself to get up and out a bit.
Glad to hear Nel, we are here whenever you want or need us.
The ladies talking about weight gain, please pass a little my way.... after last week I have shrunk even more. It's costing a fortune on heating now I have no meat to keep me warm and uncomfortably bony arse
hi all thought i would have a look in. not been keeping up as still not right. hoppfully pull around in next two weeks. that camara taking some finding.
Hi Darlo,
Hopefully you’ll start picking up soon, I’m sure they’ll sort the camera out for you soon. Don’t get too stressed watching the football

Dear Darlo
I think it's important to let your oncologist know that you are not following what's happening at the moment at times. They may be able to do something to help you.
Right there by your side Darlo
Take care
