Hello All
I thought about setting up a thread for us all to use to chat about various stuff across, so it's all in one place and newer members posts not getting pushed down and off the discussion front page before getting an answer.
I hope you are all doing well and not too stuffed on easter eggs?
I have not eaten mine yet! I went to bed friday night not feeling well and woke up Saturday with a horrid migraine throwing my guts up usually I fall asleep and sleep it off. Not so, I ended up going to the OOH doctor Sunday afternoon as was still throwing up
He gave me some lotions and potions and still not right yet. Though haven't thrown up for a few hours now. I going to try and eat something soon (not easter eggys) to see if I can manage that and see if it makes me feel better. I hate being ill! Especially on a bank holiday weekend with such nice weather. I was so looking forward to it and I have slept most of it away.
Oh wow poor Chelle - I knew a guy with tinnitus- it drove him mad. So glad you have got something to make a difference xx
I have had Tinitus for over 20 years have to have radio or tv noise even on a night i have to have radio on
The ear buds were annoying me today, so back to square one.
you can ask for a masker which blocks ringing or get a white noise machine which has many different sounds like the sea
Hi Chelle and hello to all
sorry to learn you’re troubled with tinnitus. My husband has it and often says how upsetting it can be.
maybe something in the air this week as I had one Of my worst days midweek with dark and not good thoughts. I’m thankful it passed and a better day followed.
This disease can cause your thoughts to travel in directions we really don’t want and that are not helpful.
Sorry to see ear buds aren’t cutting it for you and Dee was saying 20years of it - how awful!
Had my jabs so very fortunate in that respect but my husband not due his for a wee while so we are being careful.
hope all are ok otherwise
How are you doing Nel? I’ve had my jab now, so has my daughter, but my other half has to wait for his too, so we are still be very careful at home.
This weather doesn’t help does it, when we are stuck indoors. Let’s hope things will change soon. X
I just wanted to say today ive been complete misery but I had to laugh when I saw your comment, so a big thank you.
‘ I woke up this morning - result”
Glad to be of help lol. When I get worse I will update it to ‘IF I wake up this morning - result’ xxx
Hi All,
Hope you are all well, so today I got the results from my 3 monthly scan, the second one I’ve had since finishing treatment in September and I’m pleased to say I’m still stable. Stable seems to mean so much more than usual when you’re not in treatment.
So as the champagne and wine have gone ,it’s back to baileys for me tonight
