Suspected Lung Cancer

Hi, sorry to hear how stressed out you are, it is a very normal reaction, we have all been there and know how it feels.

Yes, the waiting for scan results is awful. I know it's hard, but try to remain calm. Once you get your results the medical team will know where to go from there. You have come to the right place, we have all had or are going through cancer and we are here to help with advice or just a chat about your worries going forward. You may live alone, but you are not alone in this.

sorry you are going through this. The waiting for tests and results is agonising. Stress will also make you feel sick and cause loss of appetite, so don’t worry too much if you are losing weight. Hope you do not have to wait too long for results, and pray you have good news. 

That was me two years ago , suspended lung cancer I had a xray then a CT scan then a PET scan then a lung biopsy. Which confirmed that I had a small cancer in my right lung then I had a lobectomy operation that was two years ago . I didn’t need any other treatment so I’m being monitored for 5 years . In August I had my two year scan still clear hope this helps 

I had exactly the same as you, X-ray, CT, PET and biopsy, but mine was three year's ago in the Summer of 2023.  Same as you, my cancer was small and in the left upper lobe, but I opted for SABR radiotherapy as opposed to surgery.  Subsequent follow ups have all been positive and I had a good immediate response with the SABR and things are going well.
