Hi, I am from Auckland, New Zealand and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung cancer and have some other minors areas, so it has spread in March 26.
I have constant nausea and vomiting day and night, have just today got home from the hospital Fri 17/7 been in there since Tue 14/7 also spent Tue to Sat in hospital last week.
They have pushed out my chemo appointments twice because of how much I am already struggling with nausea and vomiting .
They have had me on 4 types on anti nausea medications and none of them have worked one little bit, a lot of my vomiting comes from this dry cough I have acquired. Much easier with a wet cough. I also take asthma medications but am not a asthmatic. I stopped taking codiene for the cough because I thought that was the answer but it isnt.
Its been 5 weeks since my last chemo/immuno and it should be 3 weekly.
I am absolutely beside myself with how to manage this constant nausea and vomiting. Please help.
Any tips or tricks much appreciated.
