My wife has lung cancer and is on her second treatment of chemotherapy and first treatment of immunotherapy, she is having difficulty sleeping due to fatigue.

I was wondering if she can take sleep aid or Nytol medicated tablets when she is receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy.

  • Hello ,

I'm sorry to hear that your wife is having difficulty sleeping.

I'm afraid I can't advise on the suitability of the sleep aids you've mentioned and would suggest the best (and safest) solution is to contact the chemo / immunotherapy treatment team to ask them what she can take alongside her treatment drugs. It's also possible they might be able to provide /prescribe something more approriate or effective for her.

I hope you can find a solution quickly.
