Hello I’m hoping for anyone with a similar diagnosis or who’ve had anything similar with advice.
On seeing my oncologist for lung scan results, which were fine, last December I mentioned a lump I’d had for some time (about 8months) on my forehead above my right eye. I’d seen my GP who dismissed it as ‘nothing’ after noting I’d had a fall a few months prior.
My oncologist thankfully booked me in for an urgent MRI which showed a metastasis from my lung with the same EGFR mutation. I was very shocked and the onc said it was unusual to have spread to my skull. Both he and I were worried it could’ve spread to my brain… thankfully not.
I was given treatment options and as it was small I opted for a once daily pill called Osimertinib.
Only recently started it as I’d booked to visit my daughter and grandchildren in Australia which I was determined to do as I thought it might be the last time I’d see them. The journey was onerous but I’m so glad I went.
Is anyone here on Osimertinib and if so how do you find the side effects if you have them? Thanks and sorry for long message. Also as the new growth is also EGFR POSITIVE this pill is prescribed with good results.

I'm very sorry to hear of your recurrence.
Unfortunately I had different chemo for my lung cancer so can't advise on possible side effects of your's. Hopefully someone will be along soon with their own experience of it.
