Hi all, my mum has been diagnosed with lung cancer NSCLC (stage 4), and undergoing Immunotherapy only at themoment(atezolizumab). Her lymph nodes are quite swollen, sha has lots of pain. So far the side effect of the therapy has been "only" tiredness and nausea and loss of appetite. I was wondering, is it positive that she hasn't been offered chemotherapy? And after how long will we see improvement? and does this side effect will disappear? will the pain from the enlarged lymph nodes will go away? Curious to know of other people's experience with this type of immunotherapy. It's hard to belive she will get better when I see her suffering so much. Needs to hear some positive story in this hard time. Thank you and good luck to all! <3
Hi
Sorry to hear about your mum, and the pain she is in. My only experience with lung cancer is radiotherapy. But I am sure someone who has been through and treated with what your mum is taking will be along soon to give their experience and advice.
Best wishes to your mum on her road to recovery.
Ann
