Just wondering if all stage 4 lung cancer patients are automatically only offered pallative therapy? Has anyone at stage 4 been given the option of curative therapy?
My lung cancer are all fixed now through surgery eff but 3years ago I had esofigal cancer ad the oncoligist said I could have 15 cycles of palliative radiotherapy but it turned ,on My for me , to only leave 20% cancer cells what they removed , so who knowsxxxx
I'm just wondering if people with stage 4 lung cancer are ever given the choice or just automatically given pallative treatment. Who's to say it might work ?
I would ask your oncoligist, my esofigal cancer was supposed to be terminal as I was told they would not operate on me at all ,so I would ask as there always coming up with different fixes, good luck
