I’ve now had 5 palliative radiotherapy sessions and 4 chemo a blood transfusion due to anemia a head MRI thankfully clear. Am due an oncologist appointing on 6th October for a before and after comparison to see if treatments are helping at all becoming increasingly anxious.
Hi Mrslv it is a horribly anxious time waiting for scan results. Well done for the clear head MRI that is brilliant to hear that the radiotherapy was successful. Good luck for the next oncologist appointment, fingers crossed it’s more good news for you.
Hi am in a happy state of disbelief that after being initially told terminal and inoperable I had my oncologist appointment and the results after only 3 chemo and 1 week of radiotherapy theumour NSCLC in lung and mass back have reacted amazingly and am only having another 2 and then going onto immunotherapy with the hope that my psoriasis on foot and hands don’t flare up too
