Hi, have received this staging information T3N0M0 and am wondering if anyone else has had this and if so, how is it going? I believe it’s a relatively good initial result as no mets or nodes but obviously all different.

  • Hi lovely

I thought I would share my experience with you, I was diagnosed with T3N1M0 in March 2024

Had 3 months of Chemo/immunotherapy then in for Surgery in june, Since then I have been Cancer free.

I have 3 monthly scans for 2 years then will be 6 monthly checks

Anything you want to know please feel free to ask or message me.anytime.

  • My initial diagnosis was T2aN0M0, I passed what were fairly basic fitness tests for surgery and had my right lung removed. After surgery the pathology on the lung taken out showed a lymph node close to the main tumour had cancer cells so I had chemo as a precaution (immunotherapy wasn't availabe then).

Not being a doctor I obviously don't know for sure but, from your staging at this point and provided everything else is OK, you will hpefully be eligible for surgery which in my experience would be very good news under the circumstances. My own surgery was done just over 11 years ago and I haven't had lung cancer problems since.

I do hope you can follow the same path and wish you well.

  • Thanks for sharing this.  Very helpful.  So glad this working out for you Blush  It’s the scenario I’m hoping for too.  X

  • Thanks Derek.  Yes, I’m hoping surgery will do the trick as PET scan shows no other nodes or metastases anywhere.  So glad it’s alll worked out for you and best of luck for the future.  Mandy
