I saw my oncologist today for the results of the CT scan I had last week. Not good news. I have NSCLC. After finding out in June that it has spread to my bone at the top of my spine and having Radiotherapy for that, I was told today that it has now spread to my brain. I was on Pembroluzimab which has now been stopped as it's obviously not working. I am going to start Sotorisab, a targeted therapy as I have a specific gene mutation, KRAS G12C. I will need an MRI and then hopefully some stereotactic radiosurgery. I am so very scared. Has anyone else had a similar thing or on the same treatment?
Thank you
Tina
Hi RainbowRobins my diagnoses and treatment is different to yours, but I can fully understand how scared you are.
There are a couple of people here on sotorisab, although it is a relatively new treatment. Hopefully someone will be along soon to share their experience with you.
Thank you for your reply. Yes I do hope someone will share their experience of it. I know everyone will have different reactions etc but good to hear none the less.
