Hi all, granddad finished 3 weeks of radiotherapy today (initially 4 but was then shortened). He rang the bell which was so amazing. He's still fit and well, had no side effects other than some tiredness, he's just done absolutely amazing and is now looking forward to having his days free again!!! They said telephone call in 6 weeks and scan in 3 months... now the waiting game begins I guess, want to feel happy and positive but feeling anxious "has it worked" "what are the chances it has actually worked" etc.
This forum has been a lifeline for me throughout all of this, and I just wanted to share the good too!!

Hi kate290822 great to hear that grandads treatment has finished. There always seems to be a lot of waiting when you are having cancer treatment, which comes with a lot of worry and stress. Grandad has done the hard bit now, try not to worry now, nothing you can do but wait for the scan results and that is a long way off yet. X
