Hi everyone,
Granddad finally has an appointment with the consultant tomorrow, his biopsy was done at a specialist hospital 9 days ago (tomorrow) and must already be back - I've seen people post they have waited weeks and weeks for biopsy results, I'm really worried as it's been done so quick, has anyone else had theirs done so quick?

Hello Katie,
I know how you feel, don’t worry my husband was seen 4 days after his biopsy and the oncologist wanted to start treatment two to three weeks afterwards. In fact while we were at the hospital she brought forward the start of his Radiotherapy as his cough was bad by then. Four weeks on and the cough has gone.
I think it depends on what type of treatment program they will put him on. My husband who is 73 was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer in his right lung and in the Lymph Nodes. The shock at first was so frightening now we are dealing with life in a much calmer way. Try not to worry too much. It’s lovely that you care.
