Just seen a specialist again and each time I do the outcome gets grimer and grimer . Now I have to unbdergo a drain in my lung due to a fluid build up , but still no removal of original tumours and can't be radiotherapied due to bad reaction last time. . As anyone else been through a strange situation like this where they feel your too ill to operate on even though your cancers are quite small . Its been suggested that only palliative care is available to me at present but if I get fitter maybe an operation could be possible. This is after 12 months of varied opinions. Of course fluid in the lung can be caused by other illness but its suggested it maybe a cancer blocking a tube causing swelling and fluid build up. Any experiences of lung fluid drain treatment from others would be much appreciated before I see the specialist again on Monday.
