Hi I’m on day 5 if my 1st round of chemo, side effects haven’t been too bad up to now, the worst thing is the metallic taste that won’t seem to go away even after the nausea has subsided, even water tastes horrible, any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, also I’m absolutely exhausted today which I thought was improving!!

Hi Ela61 I had the same whilst having chemo I found drinking vimpto and other juices made a bit stronger than usual better to overcome the horrible taste, your taste will come back to normal not long xx

anything is worth a try, this seems so much harder than I thought possible, I feel like I’ve forgotten about the simple things that we take for granted xxx
