Hi everyone,
Has anyone had radiotherapy, more specifically Sabre to lung? I'm interested to know about experiences with fatigue from this....when it started and how long it lasted? Thanks
Hi Gemma1234
Feeling tired or fatigued is a classic side effect of radiotherapy.. The benefits of radiotherapy are cumulative; unfortunately so are the side effects. Radiotherapy continues to work for some time after the last session, therefore the tiredness/fatigue will also continue for some time after the treatment ends. Everyone reacts differently so there is no specific time scale as to when (or if) the side effects start.
Hope this helps a bit.
