Mum diagnosed today

Hi there, just wanted to reach out. My mum was diagnosed last year. Like you I couldn’t stop crying, lost my appetite, struggled to sleep. I found the waiting for various appointments and results the hardest. Once we had a treatment plan in place it became somewhat easier to deal with. 
You say your mum was having regular scans. Were they monitoring something and it’s turned into something more serious? 

yes they were monitoring what they thought was a cyst but it’s only this march that they said it was growing but i don’t get how it can go to stage 4 so quick. 

Yes I don’t understand that either. Has your mum been assigned a specialist nurse that she could maybe call to clarify things? x

Not that i’m aware of they are really keeping us in the dark about these things 

She should be assigned a cancer nurse who can answer any questions you may have either over the phone or by e-mail. X

Yes i will try to find about a nurse and contact them about the issues but thank you for the help
