4th June I had right lower lobe lobectomy. The drain was removed the same day, sadly I then developed a pneumothorax and had an emergency drain re inserted the next day. Which took 4 attempts, 2 hours and a lot of tears and swear words! This was removed Friday and I came home Friday night.
So glad to be home. I am delicate and occasionally the pain is a lot to cope with but a good old oramorph soon fixes me!
Now the wait for full analysis but belief is carcinoid.
I lived in true fear that I wasn't going to live so the fact I'm snuggled on the sofa is pretty amazing!
Keep going everyone
Katy xx
