Hi everyone. I am new to this, but looking for advice please
My husband was diagnosed with lung cancer on 9th January this year. After 3 different types of bronchioscopy, 2 x ct scans (first one now out of date), 1 x pet scan he has stage 2a lung cancer, but still not registered with oncology and no sign of any treatment. Is this unusual? We just want him better. Clinical nurses are wonderful, but just not getting anywhere with the consultants. Thank you x
Hi Vivli I would think that you should be hearing something very soon. I know how frustrating it is when there are so many tests to have, and all the waiting in between. I would be phoning the lung nurse and tell her how concerned you are that your husband hasn’t started treatment yet.
Hi Chellesimo
Thank you for your support. We keep in constant contact with the lung nurse who is great. Just not getting anywhere fast.
Viv
