hi im new here so sorry of im doing this wrong , my partner was diagnosed woth cancer 2 weeks ago they think ot is small crell he has a big mass on his right ling and 2.2 on the left , they haven't said a size about the right , jes had ct scan so we know its not in his stomach , hes had an mri and a pet scan a few days ago he also had a biopsy last week , he was ib hoaoital on the 26th were they removed 1.5ltrs of around his right lung , they doing this again wednesday , because of the size im rdreading them comong back sating they cant do nothing, ao any asvice would be greatly appreciated, also he was /is apaint aprayerhe was onabout 800 a wwek wage now hea onlh getting £109 a week on ssp does anyone know if hea wntitlwd to apply for anything else he has already applied doe pip all this started back in sept he had hia appendix removed then jan they sais it was pneumonia ot want sorry for all thw queations and hello
Hi adonna28, it is such a strain on your finances when someone is diagnosed with cancer. I think you will benefit from speaking to a financial advisor about any benefits you may be entitled to. You can ask here in the Ask an expert section, or you can call the Macmillan support line on 0808 808 00 00. You can also speak to someone at the citizen advice bureau who can help you with this.
It is so difficult waiting for test results, so I hope you will have the biopsy results soon so that treatment can start.
