Start my 1st session on Thursday imunotherapy have 4 stage lung and in my spine
We are all different I know but what are the after effects any feedback please
Hi Jensan I haven’t had immunotherapy myself so I can’t give you any personal experience of it. I just wanted to wish you luck for tomorrow. I think, like all treatments, the first one is always very daunting as we don’t know what to expect, but it’s never as bad as we have feared.
Well done for getting the first session out the way. I’m glad it went well.
I have had very little side effects on imunotherapy apart from gout. My research has shown when cells breakdown uric acid released. My biggest fear is so many people on imunotherapy it fails to work. As stage 4 lung cancer I work hard to keep positive about my imunotherapy and happy it has not made me unwell at all. They gave me sickness tablets and never needed them. I honestly feel in good health.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
