Treatment date

If you tap on my avatar you will see I've had exactly the same treatment as you. You will be at the hospital for quiet a few hours for you first few treatments my first cycle took 10 hours in total to complete as I got into the plan the times got shorter. Make sure you have plenty of snacks and drink with you, a good book to read or some puzzle books, make sure you take your phone and tablet if you have them , although you will find there is always someone to chat to. 

Your first treatment will be tough, you nurse specialist will talk you through it and I did lose my hair on this treatment, I didn't worry about that to much I just got myself some lovely hats to wear.

Best advice I can give you at the moment is be kind to yourself and do what makes you happy

Chemo affects everybody in a different way, my partner sailed through , both chemo and radiotherapy just a little tired after each session .
