Diagnosed small cell had surgery removed top lobe of my lung started chemo had cistplatin 4 cycles starting the immune therapy. Was wondering if anyone as had it or going through it
Hello, yes my husband is currently on his 7th treatment of immunotherapy. He did have 6 rounds of chemo but sadly it grew back very quick. The immunotherapy is amazing, so far my husband has no side affects and the cancer has shrunk so much only after a few treatments…..
That's gd to hear that it's shrunk I start the immune therapy in a weeks time just need to get a bit stronger after the chemo I was lucky enough to have my cancer removed so cancer free at moment
That is good, I’d you are cancer free why do you need immunotherapy? Will be be every 2 weeks in a drip given to you ? Which drug is it ?
That is so good that they are taking precautions, I have heard wonderful things about immunotherapy. I think more people will learn to live with cancer with new medications today
Think I'm. 1 of the lucky ones as not everyone can have it hopefully in the future more people with different types of cancer can have it
