  1. Hello everyone. I received my 2nd treatment on Wednesday, but unfortunately had an allergic reaction to Keytruda after only 10 minutes into the infusion and it had to be stopped. My face and chest flushed glowing red and began to have bad pain in my lower back.
  2. Has anyone else had this experience and what if so what happened for the next session ?
  3. was the treatment permanently stopped after this ?

I hope you don't mind me replying to your post as I had a different type of cancer to you. I hope by doing so it will bump your post back to the top and someone with experience of Keytruda will see it.

I am sorry to hear that you had an allergic reaction to Keytruda. it must have been scary . I would imagine that your consultant will now review your treatment and see whether it can continue or be altered to something else. Have you got a number for your CNS team that you could call? I would imagine they would be in touch before your next treatment is due but it wouldn't hurt to give them a call in the morning and ask what the plan is.

I hope that you have recovered from the reaction and are not feeling unwell from it.

    Jane
