Hi everyone
my mum has had her third round of treatment. About a week ago she started experienced acute pain in her arms. It hurts or touch or move them and much worse at night.
she has been to the wonderful team who are looking after her who suspected it was a reaction to the drugs. Has anyone else experienced this and do you have any tips for managing it. She is currently taking codeine amd paracetamol
thanks in advance
Hi Jill n
Hello Jill, I'm sorry to hear that your mum is in pain with her arms. It's good that you've had it checked out. I have a different type of cancer but saw that you've not yet had a reply. By replying to you, this will reposition your post at the top where members of the lung group can see it and reply. I hope your mum's pain lessens with the pain relief, if any of her symptoms significantly worsen, I would get back in touch with the team. Best regards,
A x
