Hi everyone, my Dad has been diagnosed with my lung cancer that has spread to the lymph nodes. He’s been given 4-6 months and so far hasn’t been given any drug therapy, we’re still waiting for that. He’s lost weight, appetite is going but is also getting depressed. How can I help him please?
Hi my husband was diagnosed on 14th Feb with the exact same thing they did a biopsy we were waiting a week in which time he went downhill so fast no appetite weight lose snappy demanding couldn't sleep he was also spitting up a lot of blood coughing all the time in the end had no luck with gp so phoned ambulance good job I did they put him straight on oxygen and consultant phoned me said same as doc told you but if they do chemo could be months even years more anyway they have given him 3 lots he's back home now but I'm finding life really hard he has oxygen here but still breathless it's so scary he's due in for another session next week hoping that will help he not at all well tonight bless him good luck ring them up tell them you think he needs chemo all the best anne
