Hi I have lung cancer stage 4 metastatic I'm on immunotherapy pembrolizumab cycle 17. I am suffering with getting sleep. I have cut out caffeine and drinking camomile tea now still cannot sleep. Any advice much appreciated as I am still working and need my sleep.thankyou
Morning
I’ve suffered with insomnia most of my life plus I used to have a blocked nose most of the year too through allergies. Not sure the reaction was seasonal
I take Kirkland Sleep Aid before bed. Please check with your team first. Mine said that it was fine but I am not having treatment at the moment
My nose is fine as they’re a heavy antihistamine and I sleep. If your doctor says they’re fine for you then I would recommend half a tablet to see first. I used to take half. Now with the stress I’m under and I don’t work I take a whole table
I really hope that your team okay the sleep aid. Being awake all night is horrible
Take care
Ann
I’m keeping them crossed for you too.
But please remember start with half as you may find it hard to wake up for work
When I went for surgery for my bowel I was going to have every drug known to man. Ha ha it was a big op the surgeon was lifting out my bowel
I asked and showed my doctor if I could take them. She just grinned and said yes
When I woke up I knew why she smiled. I didn’t need Kirkland sleep aid. I was wired in
Have a good day
Ann
